Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m.

REVELATION STUDY - Currently our Tuesday night class has been examining the Book of Revelation. This is sometimes thought of as a scary and frightening book, but instead, it is a book of great hope. We see how indeed, "God Wins" and he will wipe away every tear and suffering. We welcome everyone to attend and achieve a greater appreciation of God's promise for us.

Next Class - Tuesday August 28th at 7:00 p.m. - We will pick up where we left off  at Revelation 2:18

Children's Sunday School - 10:00 a.m. Sundays

Our Children’s Ministry, under the direction of Nancy Porteus, is committed to transforming the lives of children as they learn about the love of God and the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We believe all children should be taught to love God with all their heart, all their soul, all their mind, and all their strength, and to love their neighbor as themselves (Luke 10:27).

Our primary emphasis is teaching children the Bible. We recognize children grow through developmentally appropriate, hands-on activities; positive interaction with friends; and loving, unified leadership by dedicated staff and volunteers.

The goal of the Plainfield UMC Children’s Ministry is to support families in establishing the foundation for children to become well-equipped disciples who show the love of Jesus to everyone they meet.

Adult Sunday School - 10:00 a.m. Sundays

Every Sunday morning, a group of adults meet in Plainfield UMC Sunday School Class to enhance their spiritual growth and enjoy fellowship with other Christians. We have classes for a variety of demographic groups, with many different class personalities and styles.

Adults who wish to enhance their understanding of God’s will, and how to apply it to their lives and to their world. Participants will not shy away from questions about faith, nor avoid difficult questions facing Christianity. Research sources include the Bible and other materials to provide a richer understanding.
